Dr. Kuerer is the Robinson Endowed Distinguished Professor of Surgery and Cancer Research, and the Executive Director of the MD Anderson Cancer Network Breast programs. He is Co-Principal Investigator for the expanded national cooperative group NRG Oncology at MD Anderson and serves as a member of the NRG Breast Committee. He is on the editorial board of several clinical journals, and is the Chair of the Publications Committee for the American Society of Breast Surgeons. He has authored or coauthored more than 500 peer-reviewed scientific reports, editorials/commentaries, and text chapters. Dr. Kuerer is Editor-in-Chief of the definitive McGraw-Hill textbook, Breast Surgical Oncology.
