William L. Diehl, MD, FACS is a breast surgeon and surgical oncologist who has devoted much of his career to caring for people with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). He is Medical Director of Summit Health’s Breast Care Center, where he leads a team focused on compassionate, evidence-based care and patient education.
Dr. Diehl has also served as medical director for regional breast centers and helped guide multidisciplinary breast cancer panels in New Jersey. He practices at Summit Medical Group in Florham Park and has ties to the Morristown Hospital Cancer Center. Along with his compassionate patient care, Dr. Diehl speaks Spanish, increasing care accessibility. Patients remember him for his clear explanations, practical next steps, and his dedication to partnering with each patients' care team.
